Orang Alem has spent a good part of the 21st century designing, developing, and troubleshooting some of the world’s most sensitive optically-pumped magnetometers (OPM). In all his remaining time he has focussed on bringing this OPM technology to the medical and research markets.
Svenja Knappe has been working on miniaturized OPMs and microfabricated quantum sensors for over 20 years in academia, government, and industry. She has a PhD in physics and holds a faculty appointment in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Jeramy Hughes is a curious inventor with an entrepreneurial spirit. With a background in atomic physics, he has been part of a number of startup companies and helped bring to market nearly a dozen quantum devices. His passion is thinking in or out of a box.
